2/14/2003 - FIRST BASKET SCORED AT Giant Center

HERSHEY, Pa.- At 6:35 p.m. tonight, the first basket in Giant Center history was scored with 7:10 on the game clock during the first quarter. The basket was scored by #33 Amy Watson, the senior forward from Hempfield.

This evening's games are to determine the Lancaster-Lebanon League champions. Cedar Crest and Hempfield are battling it out for the women's title, while at 8 p.m., Lancaster and Lancaster Catholic will take the floor for the men's championship.

The court was installed yesterday and is the first time basketball has been played at the new Giant Center.
