A sold out tour. A brand new venue. The air is electrified for Cher bringing her "LIVING PROOF –THE FAREWELL TOUR" to GIANT Center for the venue's debut night. Tickets for her Tuesday, October 15th show are $45.75, $69.75 and $83 and are on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. The show, which has received rave reviews across the country, will be the superstar's final appearances on the live concert stage.

GIANT Center will unite HERSHEY's past with the best of modern-day arenas, making it the place to be in Central Pennsylvania. With a seating capacity of 12,500 for family shows and concerts and a capacity of 10,500 for hockey, GIANT Center is an arena of exceptional quality. You wouldn't want to miss the grand opening of this state-of-the-art facility!

Thus far, "LIVING PROOF-THE FAREWELL TOUR" has played in over 50 markets and reached an audience of over one half million Cher fans in the US. The extravaganza, dubbed by the diva herself as "The Cher-ist Show on Earth" includes songs spanning over four decades as well as music from her recent album "LIVING PROOF." The show also includes a small army of dancers and several video clips highlighting the greatest moments of her TV, film and music career. Cher's many costumes are designed by her long time collaborator Bob Mackie.

For the above on-sale, the Hersheypark Sports and Entertainment Complex will implement their lottery wristband procedure. Fans are permitted on Hersheypark property beginning at 7 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2002. From 8-9 AM, fans will be directed to a predetermined location where they will be issued a numbered wristband. Wristbands will be available from 8-9 AM. At 9 AM, Hersheypark Security will randomly select a wristband that will determine the line order. For example: if 1000 wristbands are issued during the first hour and the number 500 is selected, the person wearing wristband number 500 will be the first person in line. Numbers 501-1000 will proceed in line behind him followed by numbers 1-499. Once the line is in place, everyone arriving after the first hour will be escorted to the end of the numbered line.
